What is Co Artistry Tools?

What is the best way to care for my new Co Artistry Tools?

To ensure the longest life of your brushes, here are our tips to keep them soft and clean!

Wash your brushes at least once per week using shampoo or pure olive oil soap.

1. Wet the brush head in warm water then swirl into the shampoo or soap to create a lather. Continue until all makeup is removed.

2. Rinse under running water until the water runs clear, squeeze out excess water.

3. Groom the fibres back to their original shape and lay flat to dry.

4. For more persistent makeup such as eyeliner and lipstick, dip the tip of the brush into baby oil, massage until the product has broken down then continue with step 1 to remove any remaining oil.

AVOID using brush cleaning fluids containing harsh chemicals/alcohol, this may affect the bond between the handle and ferrule causing the ferrule to crack. This will also fade the beautiful pearlescent handle on your tools. 

AVOID dipping the whole brush in water as this will corrode the ferrule over time.

What is the ferrule?

The ferrule is the metallic ring of the brush that connects the handle of the brush to the fibres.

Do you test on animals?

Co Artistry Tools does not conduct testing on animals. All Co Artistry Tools are vegan and cruelty free and against animal testing. More information can be found here.
